Covenants/Architectural Guidelines

The following files represent the DCC&R for each of the six Units in Forest Trails. A map of the units and their associated lot numbers is included on the last page of each Init DCC&R. Included also, below, are the Architectural Guidelines applied by the Forest Trails Building Committee in the enforcement of the covenants as well as a brochure from West Chicago summarizing their enforcement of property maintenance.

Architectural review control and Enforcement falls to the Building Committee described in the DCC&R. Requests for architectural changes affecting the exterior of an owner's home need to be documented on the Architectural Improvement Application (AIA), below, and submitted to the Building Committee Coordinator prior to requesting a building permit from West Chicago.All instructions for the change process are included with the AIA.
