Starting in 1988 a variety of builders, following consistent architectural guidelines, achieved a distinctive neighborhood that is close to schools, transportation and recreation. Only a few lots remain undeveloped in 2024.
Forest Trails has immediate access to the Illinois Prairie Path with a hub-like location that allows residents to run, bike and walk in many directions to take advantage of local parks and DuPage Forest Preserve sites.
Forest Trails is adjacent to Wheaton Academy, a world-recognized private Christian high school. Many of our current residents have high school students attending Wheaton Academy.
Forest Trails is only four minutes away from the West Chicago train station for commuter access throughout the day: east to downtown Chicago Ogilvie Transportation Center, or west to Geneva/Elburn on the Union Pacific West line.
